Club Notes - 15th February

The registration deadline for 2010 is fast approaching and all club membership MUST be paid before the end of February. Club Registrar Declan McCullagh will be collecting membership before Men’s Senior training on Friday night. You can also pay membership after Mass in Plumbridge this Sunday, before the Ladies Sponsored Walk.

The Under 14 team played Newtownstewart on Saturday last in a challenge match in preparation for their league which starts on Saturday 6th March. Training continues on Saturday morning at 11am. A bus is being organised for all players who played for the boy’s teams from U8-U16 level last year to attend the Tyrone V Kerry National League game on Saturday 27th March in Omagh. Places can be booked at the Youth Presentation on 28th February and will cost £3.

Tickets for the Annual Members’ Draw are now available from all players and committee members. Please support this important club fundraiser. Irish Language classes will commence on Thursday 18th February at 7.30pm in the clubrooms.

Ladies Senior training continues on Tuesday and Friday at 7.30pm in St Peter’s PS. Training for the minor ladies takes place on Monday night at 7.00pm in Gortin hall. The Glenelly Ladies sponsored walk takes place this Sunday 21st February. Registration is at 12 noon in clubrooms. This will be an enjoyable event for all the family to take part in and all support is most welcome.

First Aid training for all managers will take place on Saturday (20th February) at 9.30am in the Clubrooms. The Youth Presentation, sponsored by Glenelly Credit Union, will take place on Sunday 28 February.
