A huge thank you to all who attended the clubs sponsored walk on Sunday. The weather was kind to the walkers who completed the 5 miles in less than 2 hours. The Ladies Committee would like to thank all those who provided refreshments along the route for the walkers and in the clubrooms following their safe return. A kind word of thanks is also extended to our safety car drivers and all those who donated so generously to all those who walked. All sponsor sheets should be returned to Claire Kildunne (ladies treasurer) on or before the Youth Presentation evening on Sunday 28 February.
The next committee meeting will take place on Monday 1 March with the Ladies’ meeting starting at 7.00pm and the Men’s commencing at 8.15pm. A Festival Committee Meeting will take place on Tuesday 2 March at 8.15pm.

Safe Talk
Safe Talk is a free workshop, provided by Western Health and Care Trust which will raise general awareness on how to prevent suicide in the Glenelly community. The workshop equips participants with the skills to recognise a person with thoughts of suicide to engage them and then connect them with an organisation or individual who can intervene to help keep them safe. The workshop will be held on a Wednesday evening in late spring, but in order to ensure viability, we need to determine numbers. To confirm interest and for more details, please contact Rosemary Murphy on 07708567449 or 81648336.
