Club Notes - 9th June

Senior ladies first round of the championship is on Thursday at 8.15pm in Drumquin. U14 girls played Donaghmore on Monday night in the Championship semi final. The girls are also in the league final scheduled for the 22nd of June. The U12s were due to play Badoney last night in their final fixture. The next Under 10 blitz is on the 20th of June in Newtownstewart.

Glenelly Seniors and Reserves drew with Owen Roes on Sunday and play Drumquin at home on Saturday at 5.00 and 6.30pm. Commiserations to the Boys U14 team who were defeated by Brackaville in the Final of the Championship on Friday. This week they play Tattyreagh in the final of the league. Venue and time to be confirmed . Training for Boys Under 6-12 players will continue on Thursday at 6.30pm. The next Blitz for the Under 10 team is on Saturday 13th June in Plumbridge. Details available at training. The first game for the Under 12 team is away to Dregish on Monday 15th June. Transport leaving Plumbridge at 6.30pm. The Under 16 will begin on Thursday 18th June at home to Trillick. All players to be at the clubrooms at 7pm.

The Ulster semi-final in Casement Park on 21st June will not be an all-ticket event. Tickets will be required for the Stand but because of its relatively small capacity only a few tickets will be allocated to each club. Admission to all other parts of the stadium will be by payment at the turnstiles on the day. Children aged under sixteen will be admitted free of charge.

Dancing classes have commenced for the contestants of Strictly Come Dancing event at the Glenelly Festival. The event will be held on Friday 23rd July. Tickets will be on sale over the next few weeks. Thirteen couples from the parish and surrounding areas are competing and will be looking for your sponsorship.
