Club Notes - 16th June

The next game for Glenelly Seniors is the championship against Dungannon in Pomeroy at 8.15pm on Friday 26th June.

Training for Boys Under 6-12 players will continue on Thursday at 6.30pm.

Well done to the under 10 team at the Blitz at home on Saturday past and many thanks to the ladies who assisted with the refreshments for the visiting teams.

The next Blitz for the Under 8 team is on Saturday 20th June in Urney.

The Under 12 team have two games next week, both at home against Michael Cusack’s on Monday evening and against Gortin on Thursday. Throw in for both games is 7pm.The Under 16 will begin their league tonight (18th June) at home to Trillick. All players to be at the clubrooms at 7pm.

Senior ladies are through to the semi final of the Championship on Saturday the 20th of June at 8.15 in Carrickmore.

U14 league final is to be played on Monday 22nd June. Time and venue to be confirmed. The Under 14 Championship final was due to be played last night (Wednesday).

U16 girls training continues on Friday evening at 5.30pm, all new faces welcome. Underage girls training continues on Tuesday evenings.

A meeting for all festival workers will take place in the clubrooms on Tuesday 30th June at 9.00pm.

The club extend sympathy to the family of Colm McGuigan, Draperstown, on their recent bereavement. Colm was club senior manager during the 1980’s.
