Minors Advance to League Semi Final

The Minor team continued in their defence of the Grade 3 League title following a hard fought win away to Trillick in the Quarter Final.

A 2-1 salvo from Martin Blee and a goal from Ciaran McConnell propelled Glenelly into a 3-1 to 1-6 half time lead and despite an early Trillick goal in the second half, the lads finished strongly to claim a 3-8 to 2-9 victory.

They are now due to play Brocagh in the Semi Final next Wednesday - 1st July - with the venue to be confirmed later.

Good luck to Sean, Vincent and the lads in their efforts to retain the shield for a second consecutive year.
